*********************
We belong to the Antiochian Orthodox Diocese in Western and Central Europe
within the
Antiochian Orthodox Deanery of the United Kingdom and Ireland. We are in
communion with all the other Orthodox Churches worldwide … Greek, Russian,
Serbian, Romanian, etc. … Antioch being one of the ancient sees of the
Christian Church, (Acts 11:26).
The Antiochian Deanery is a full
member of Churches Together in England.
The Deanery parishes use English
entirely in all their services in order to reach out to the peoples of these
Isles with the Holy Orthodox Catholic Faith. The parish clergy include Revd.
Fr. Gregory Hallam (priest) and the Revd. Fr. John-Mark Titterington
(deacon).
Everyone is welcome to attend our
services at St. Theodore’s but only members of the Orthodox Church are able
to receive Holy Communion. After the Divine Liturgy, we offer light
refreshments and a time of fellowship together. We maintain a bookstall and offer instruction in Orthodox
Christianity for those wishing to become Orthodox.
